A fantastic stay all round and a great host.
Nina went above and beyond to help me every day of my trip. The room was a great size, very clean & great value. The whole process was really smooth. Nina was great to talk to and discuss food options, transport, destinations and even a bit of world politics! I felt very comfortable with my stay and would recommend Nina's B&B highly. Nearby Taroko National Park is amazing! Thanks Nina!

What was the highlight of Spring Garden Homestay
Comfortable stay with an exceptionally nice host
The host is wonderful - she sincerely cares about the people staying in her hotel, and goes out of her way to make sure your stay is comfortable. She was always giving us advice on where to go, calling restaurants to make sure they were open, etc. This makes the hotel feel very homey and welcoming. The rooms are clean and fairly spacious - the beds and pillows are comfy. Clean bathrooms as well, and good WiFi.
The hotel is really quite far from anything accessible by foot (except of course for a nearby 7-11 and a couple of small restaurants). The host will be the first to tell you that you need a vehicle in order to get around. If you're like us, you'll stay here because it gives you a short head start on the way to Taroko Park, but when you're back here, don't expect to find much in the way of restaurant variety or shops.

What was the highlight of Spring Garden Homestay
Spring Garden delight
Great location with a fantastic breakfast cafe just down the street. Nina is a wonderful, friendly host, speaks great English and is a fountain of local information. There's a kitchen, microwave and free tea. It's a quiet location and about 45 minutes drive to Taroko National Park. It was great value for money and we had an excellent two night stay.
The bed mattress was a bit too firm for me quite frankly, although this seems to be normal in Taiwan. I would have preferred a softer one.
